Plans and a model for the future building were designed in Paris by Christopher Roth under the mentorship of French Architect Denis Valode. They were presented in August 2008 and February 2009 to the Board members in Chepkanga as well as to the local authorities, the MP, the chief, the District Commissioner, the Bishop of Eldoret and the Ministry of Works.
Caroline Burer, a Kenyan architect originally from Chepkanga will implement the plans from her Nairobi office. She will follow the construction process, projected to extend over 5 years.
One of the highlights of the expanded college which will offer new workshops in carpentry, mechanics and electricity, is the inclusion of a dormitory capable of housing up to 130 students.
The projects are advancing steadily on all fronts. The temporary classrooms are operational and the construction is moving forward.
